We recently sold our beach front property. Any references to pool and swimming have been removed from this website. There is no longer access to the swimming pool across the street from your rental home. It was a tough decision but one we had to make in our personal lives. We hope you understand our reasoning. Thank you for understanding.
Covid-19
The world has changed, this is for sure. We have all adapted to the situation and in keeping with that, we have implemented strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols. We are certified Gold Standard with the Belize Tourism Board. We have the capacity to take temperatures and monitor same, as per requirements of BTB. We are happy to provide you a clean and safe accommodation for your trip to Belize so rest assured, we are doing our best to ensure you will remain safe and healthy.
Sirenian Bay
There is a new resort/facility within walking distance of The Wooden Mongoose Vacation Rental. There is a restaurant and bar as well as mini golf and golf cart rentals. Walk down and play a round of mini putt. Grab a nice cold drink and have a great pizza, chicken, fish, appies and daily specials at the Restaurant. New as of December 2019.

Southwest Airlines has announced two new routes to Belize. Non-stop route announced Denver to Belize City beginning March 11, 2017. Non-stop route Fort Lauderdale to Belize City beginning June 4, 2017.

Westjet has announced flights direct from Toronto to Belize City, non-stop route. This cuts out the need for an overnight stay in Houston or Atlanta ... you can be in Belize in about 4.5 hours!
